GORDON Brown's roadshows about "Britishness" are such a flop that the Government is PAYING people to turn up, it can be revealed.

Just TEN ordinary members of the public have gone to the eight debates held so far.

So desperate civil servants have paid 455 people between £75 and £85 each to be "an invited member of the public" - adding up to more than £35,000.

The roadshows were launched with great fanfare by Mr Brown when he became PM in 2007. The idea was to collect ideas for a new "Statement of Values" and "Bill of Rights and Responsibilities".

The first debate, hosted by Justice Secretary Jack Straw in Leicester two years ago, attracted 21 local councillors - but NONE came to the latest two events in Gateshead and Birmingham last month.

Even Chief Whip Nick Brown pulled out of the Gateshead event, leaving it without a ministerial host. The events have so far cost an estimated £1million.

Shadow justice minister Eleanor Laing, who forced the Ministry of Justice to reveal the figures, said: "The public has spoken: Gordon Brown's Britishness roadshow is a colossal waste of money."

But Justice Minister Michael Wills, who runs the events, last night said they were about "an important issue".

This Khoodeelaar! Breaking commentary is being created and published at 1910 GMT Friday 25 December 2009 in order to publish the dissection of the latest ploy by the touts of Big Business who are programmed to go for the Onion in London SE1 at the scheduled 2012 ‘MORONAL’ ‘election’ at the expense of the people of London.

The 'rumour' about Peter Mandelson and the post of the elected Moron is being now sold as a valid proof that Ken Livingstone is indeed a world-class manipulator.

To add 'substance' and plausibility to that boast, they are hauling in a pair of ethnicity-linked time-servers and petty self-seekers.

According to that line, so far, the pair, cited, is 'more of a threat to Ken Livingstone' than Peter Mandelson is or, ever’ could be. Why? The peddlers say that Mandy Mandelson’s being an acknowledged 'Establishment' entity, his interest in grabbing the official Blaired Party 'candidature' would lend Ken Livingstone precisely the ammunition that the Lyingstill craves and relies on: to play the career 'outsider' and to curry [that word is included here by the KHOODEELAAR! campaign in defence of the Brick Lane London E1 AREA advisedly] favour with the alleged ‘London Blaired Party’ groupies, placemen and women and assorted other time-servers.

In the almost one week old life of the lying line, there has been not one hint by the touts of any recognition of any even the conceivable possibility that among the voting and actively politically engaged people in London there might be any awareness of the rank, unadulterated corruption of all the named and cited individuals, starting with Ken Livingstone.

It goes without saying that they also have not shown any readiness to recognise that the real feeling in the minds of the real ordinary unpublicised people in and of London has been that the MORONALTY or the occupancy of the Onion where the MORONALTY is officially located, is not anything to boast about. That it has been another source of wasting £££££ of money ‘in the name of the public’. That the MORONALTY is another way for the looters and the corrupters to channel their theft and their lootery. That there is no reference to accountability, democracy, honesty in any of the MORONALTY or in any of the Murdoch-Andrew Neill-peddled parasite-post-craze for the next bout of immorality and obscenity dressed up as ‘4-yearly electoral accountability’ is part of the agenda that is in operation at the behest of Big Business and under the aegis of Big Business that is determined to keep control on the polity. The Ken Mark One has confessed to have been being a Voice of Big Business. He has done this in one of the interminable series of self-seeking elf-serving, career-reviver ‘interviews’ that he and the parasite media have to share. Asked to pone for the n’th time on the vah-loos if Crossril in the context of the dire debts and deficits that it entails in addition to the monumental irrelevance and diversion of the scam, Ken the LYINGSTILL Livingstone spouted out words to the effect that Boris Johnson would not DARE ditch CrossRail. The nasty nasal one, who has a long evident fondness for gangsters and thugs, said that Boris Johnson would not be allowed by ‘Business’ to ditch CrossRail.

The nasty nasal threat was not lightly confirmed. ‘Business’ as the less moral one put it, practically owns the agenda that lets in those who crave public office.


Then they drive the screw and tighten it at their whim and ease4.

While the ordinary London public are taken for a ride with ever new confidence-tricking gimmicks to justify the latest fares rises and the worsening state of the Existing public transport in London.

Even the massively egotistical and blasé Allison Pearson, a ‘London’ columnist of ‘nationally circulated’ media platforms, has resorted today to describing the London Circle line as a Circle of Hell.

Neither this Pearson nor the Pearson-linked FT has EVER called for [a thing costing £16.Bn of essentially public money] called CRASSrail as a correlative and logical answer to the EXISTING transport nightmare being endured, suffered and put up with by ordinary people in and AROUND London.


And the Nasty Nasal Ken knows it very well.

He has done so for a good 8 years, at least!

Not to speak of the ‘positive’ relationship he has stitched together with the ‘City of London’ interests.

So the claim this week [starting on Monday 14 December 2009] being made by certain of the propaganda elements operating under the career umbrella of BorisKen to the effect that the aforementioned BorisKenn had attached the highest possible importance top CrossRail, is another untruth.

BorisKen is not an objective internationally recognisable thinker. This is contrary to his coincidental apercu this week at the so-called Climate Conference in northern Europe.

In the shadow of his ‘Onion’, there is dire definite degeneration looming as one result of his ‘highest priority’ CRASSrail.

AADHIKAR the weekly was devised in November 1980 and published on Monday 19 December 1980.

AADHIKAR is spelt like this in English as originally devised by Muhammad Haque in 1980.

Even after 29 years since then, the Asian language word is being transliterated inaccurately in many places.

The word [and the concept] AADHIKAR is probably the most universally recognised and shared one across the Subcontinent of Bangladesh, India and Pakistan.

Its appeal is direct.

And that is directly derived from the daily experience of lack of rights across the subcontinent.

That was the case in December 1980.

That is the case in December 2009.

AADHIKAR means rights.

But what rights?

Whose rights?


This is at the core of contention now.

As it was in 1980.

We shall be looking at the state of rights and the lack of rights in December 2009.

In the UK and beyond.

A word on the physical labour that went into the production of the launch issues of the weekly AADHIKAR:

The contents were mostly typed by Shah M Azizul Haque on a Bangla script manual typewriter.

Shah M Azizul Haque worked as the News Editor of the founding weekly AADHIKAR.

He worked the longest hours. The labour he put in was beyond remuneration. In any case, there was no material gain or monetary remuneration for the creation of the weekly AADHIKAR.

They are thus embroiled in a confusion of their own making. A confusion of their making. A confusion among many such.

The UK Lib Dems are in a state of such interminable stagnation that words cannot adequately detail their backwardness. One after another, the Lib Dems ‘leaders’ queue up; line up to show just how behind they are in thinking.

This is most clearly exposed in their confusion on Crossrail.

£1.6bn to axe Crossrail

Liberal Democrat shadow transport secretary Norman Baker last week raised fears about the future of Crossrail after sounding out the cost of cancelling the £15.9bn project.

Baker had asked transport minister Sadiq Khan what abandoning the project after next year’s General Election would cost the taxpayer.
Khan said the cost of cancelling the project would exceed £1.6bn. Up to June 2010 project delivery costs, including fees paid to consultants would be £950M.
Another £700M would have been spent on land purchase costs plus the “uncertain” costs of cancelling contracts let to date. “It is not possible to produce precise estimates as to overall expenditure if the project were to be cancelled,” said Khan.
“The resolution of contractual arrangements would be a matter of economic uncertainty.”

“The costs associated with any cancellation would be substantial but would be contingent on a number of different factors, including contractual commitments and potential income from land no longer required.
“Naturally, the resolution of contractual arrangements would be a matter of significant commercial sensitivity and economic uncertainty.”
Liberal Democrat economic spokesman Vince Cable has already warned that the £16bn east-west rail scheme for London was unlikely to be a “key priority”, should his party have influence in the next government.
Crossrail and its parent Transport for London (TfL) are working hard to secure the funding needed to build the scheme.
Funding framework
In September TfL announced that it had agreed a £1bn loan with the European Investment Bank (EIB) to finance part of its £7.7bn contribution to the project.
The £15.9bn funding framework was put in place in October 2007 when prime minister Gordon Brown announced that Crossrail’s costs will be met by the government, TfL and London businesses. The government will contribute by means of a £5.1bn Department for Transport grant.
TfL will also contribute £2.7bn directly.
Crossrail fares will contribute £3.5bn to the repayment of project debt raised by TfL. Network Rail will put in £2.3bn.
London businesses will contribute through the Supplementary Business Rate.
There are also financial contributions from some key beneficiaries of Crossrail including City of London Corporation (£200M), BAA (£230M) and Canary Wharf. (£150M).
Canary Wharf Group is also designing and building the new station.
